Maintenance Mechanic responsible for repairs , trouble shooting,
continuous improvement and preventive maintenance of equipment and
processes to ensure efficient production, primarily in the
Weigh/Mix /Sterilization operations for the main plant . Perform
all duties strictly according to Safety Regulations, cGMPs, SOPs,
and other internal and external regulations. Responsibilities:
Essential Duties - Performs scheduled maintenance on facilities
equipment and systems. - Repairs the malfunction of machines,
systems and auxiliary equipment. - Routinely checks on machinery
and systems for signs of fault in order to prevent or minimize
downtime and interruptions. - Initiates improvement on the
functionality of facilities equipment and systems to increase its
efficiency. - For more senior position, might acts as a team leader
to ensure that the work meets agreed targets by directly overseeing
team members. - Must demonstrate knowledge of the field's policies,
procedures and practices - Documents activities accordingly. The
job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any
responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills - Required to apply comprehensive
working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization.
Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts,
and proposes a course of action. Performs comprehensive shop floor
competencies. - Works under general supervision. May periodically
assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of
other peers. - May require some limited judgement in resolving
problems. - Contacts are primarily with department supervisors,
leads, subordinates, and peers. Occasional contact with external
contractors/vendors. Expertise: Qualifications -
Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required: - High school
diploma/G.E.D required, Associate's or technical degree preferred.
- Related experience OR PBS requirements completed and pass
assessment at appropriate level. - Ability to work non-standard
schedule as needed. - Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
