Job Description:
A company is looking for a Credit Policy Specialist responsible
for developing, writing, and publishing credit guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a governance framework to assess credit and operational
risk for product changes
Develop and revise lending technical documentation, including
policies and procedures
Act as a subject matter expert on credit policy topics and serve as
the primary contact for internal inquiries
Required Qualifications and Experience
7-10 years of experience in mortgage underwriting
Deep knowledge of agency, government, Non-QM, and Jumbo loan
products
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment
Demonstrated integrity in handling confidential information
