Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical
Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Duration: 13 weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (23:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum
of 1 year in relevant role License: Valid State License required
Certifications: CRCST or CBSPD Must-Have: Ability to lift and carry
twenty-five (25) pounds. Capable of pushing and pulling carts.
Tolerate prolonged standing. Possess effective verbal and written
communication skills. Able to perform basic mathematical
calculations and be computer literate. Able to work effectively in
a team environment. Knowledge and understanding of applicable
standards. Description: Local travelers only. Rotating weekends,
every other weekend includes on-call and holiday duties. High
school diploma or equivalent required. Tracking system knowledge
preferred. Candidate will work in sterile processing.
Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, high-level
disinfection, and proper sterilization procedures. Candidate will
perform sets/trays assembly and equipment documentation. Knowledge
regarding various specialties such as Orthopedics, OB/GYN, and
General Surgery is beneficial. Knowledge of sterilization
monitoring and immediate-use steam sterilization is necessary.
Candidate should have acute hospital experience and familiarity
with cleaning various hospital equipment. Collaboration with
interdisciplinary teams is essential. Candidate is expected to have
a strong attention to detail and follow all safety protocols.
