Build your future with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Sanitor in Pomona, California. $17.50 per hour . As a Production Sanitor you will: Performs cleaning activities including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing machinery, cleaning of conveyors, surface areas and other areas deemed appropriate. Efficiently and effectively disassembles and reassembles production equipment, as necessary. Uses hot water and approved chemicals including corrosive chemicals, foaming, and other cleaning agents to safely clean and sanitize rooms, machinery, and other production equipment. Oversee the proper storage, labeling, and handling/use of all cleaning supplies, chemicals and disinfecting equipment. Ensures inventory of all cleaning equipment and alerts Supervisor when any supplies are needed. Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense and Food Quality regulations as required by the company Compliance to all employee job safety requirements and regulations Performs other duties as assigned This is a Full time opportunity, temp to hire. 3rd shift - 8:00pm to 4:30am The ideal candidate will: Willing to work weekends/OT/ Holidays when needed Previous experience in Food/Beverage STRONG knowledge of food sanitation Bilingual - Spanish (preferred) Required use of Lock-out/Tag-out safety protocols. 6 months minimum of experience to a year in Sanitation Must have experience working with squeegee, chemicals, Dairy hose, & broom Able to climb stairs & work at heights from platform Pay rate: $17.50 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
