America. The Home Equity Specialist is responsible for originating
high-quality home equity line of credit (HELOC) loans by
effectively communicating with customers, gathering documentation,
evaluating applications, and closing approved loans. Essential Job
Duties & Responsibilities: Meet and exceed assigned loan production
goals and targets; Maintain pipeline management reports and
forecast future opportunities Prospect for new HELOC customers
through inbound call campaigns Educate customers on HELOC products
and eligibility requirements Gather financial documents and process
loan applications Evaluate applications based on credit worthiness,
income verification, asset valuation, etc. Present completed
packages for underwriting approval Coordinate closings with
settlement agents and title companies Ensure compliance with all
applicable lending laws and regulations Participate in continued
education and training as required; Perform other duties as
assigned Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: 2 years of
experience as a loan officer, preferably with HELOC expertise
Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field preferred
Strong communication, sales, and relationship building skills
Proficiency with loan origination/processing software systems
Knowledge of lending guidelines, laws and regulations Ability to
multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and problem-solving
abilities Must possess, or have the ability to possess upon hire, a
Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license per the SAFE Act; may be
asked to become licensed in multiple states Compensation: $28.85
