Angel View Resale Store Clerk


*REPORTS TO:*


Store Manager


*PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:*


Provide for excellent customer and donor relations.


KEY DUTIES:


* Provide for excellent customer service and donor relations with the ability to communicate with others in a friendly, confident, professional and timely manner.

* Honesty, integrity and exercising sound judgment.

* Meet inventory production quotas to help ensure maximum sales performance. Provide for the efficient, organized movement of inventory through the donation sorting and pricing process and onto the selling floor as directed by stores Supervisors.

* Perform store housekeeping and maintenance functions such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restroom, etc.

* Move furniture, mattresses and large donated items around the store.

* Place merchandise on the selling floor in accordance with presentation standards.

* Input data into Excel and Word spreadsheets.

* Operate the Point of Sale system according to company guidelines, recording transactions accurately.

* Work safely and report unsafe conditions to management.

* Perform other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to read and comprehend English language.

Point of Sale System ? Telephone ? Ten Key Calculator ? Computers


Fax Machine ? Credit Card Machine


Merchandise ticketing equipment

Broom, vacuum, mop


*PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:*


Sitting, standing, walking, twisting, bending, lifting up to 40lbs and pull/push up to 40lbs.

Tolerate extreme weather conditions while working outdoors

Climb stairs occasionally


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: From $15.50 per hour
