Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP
About the Position Pay Rate: $40.00 - $44.00/Hourly. Summary: The
Operating Room Technician (Surgical Technologist) plays a critical
role in the surgical team by preparing the operating room,
maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons and
nurses during surgical procedures. This position ensures patient
safety, efficient workflow, and adherence to surgical and infection
control standards. Responsibilities: Assists physician, NP or PA in
assessment of signs, symptoms, analysis, treatment and care of the
orthopedic patient. Provides education, under physician, NP or PA
instruction, involving the care and plan of treatment of the
orthopedic patient. (i.e proper care of cast and splints). Prepares
patients for provider by reviewing current medications and record
in medical record as needed. Sets up exam room/procedure rooms
appropriately based on patient visit needs and takes appropriate
vital signs and record in medical record as needed. Performs
designated diagnostic tests as directed by provider. Requirements
Requirements: 2 in an outpatient setting with STRONG ortho
specialty experience, BLS Certification, Splinting/Casting/Wound
care experience, Flu Vaccination (no declination/no exemptions),
Certified Surgical Technologist. Preferred: Orthopedic Technologist
Certified (OTC) Certification from NBCOT (National Board for
Certification of Orthopedic Technologists) required within 180
