Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Management Nurse
Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
Utilizes clinical skills to coordinate and document aspects of the
utilization/benefit management program
Consults with internal and external parties on utilization/benefit
management functions
Gathers clinical information to apply medical necessity criteria
for coverage determination and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
3+ years of clinical practice experience in an inpatient
setting
Active and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Florida
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
Must reside in Florida
Associate's degree required; BSN preferred
