Job Description:
A company is looking for a Surgical Assistant - Organ
Recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate procurement of surgical supplies and manage operating
room preparation
Assist in surgical procedures and ensure the preservation of donor
organs
Document surgical activities and collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams for effective communication
Required Qualifications
Previous Operating Room (O.R.) experience required
Certification as a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) or Certified
First Assistant (CFA) required
Bachelor's degree in health studies or related field or equivalent
experience
Experience in military service or comparable leadership roles is
valued
Familiarity with OPO operations and UNOS/OPTN policies
preferred
