• Employment Type: Travel *Peds hospital experience REQUIRED* Years of experience REQ: 2 years Call REQ: N Floating REQ: Y; 1st to float; to Peds, PICU or CVICU Weekend REQ: Y EVERY OTHER Certs REQ: BLS, NRP, PALS Documentation System: Cerner First-timers accepted: Yes; strongly prefers experienced travelers -** Strongly prefers the following: -
  • Previous experience in academic medical center (Level III and Level IV) .
  • Peds hospital experience (for required floating)
  • Pre/Post Op surgical experience, trachs, central lines, drips, and small baby care
  • All skills are hard stop requirements. Must have experience with vents 2-3 times per week. - Unit Info Patient Diagnoses
    • Neonates
    • Diagnoses include but are not limited to:
    • prematurity
    • respiratory distress syndrome
    • sepsis
    • hyperbilirubinemia
    • medical/surgical emergencies
    • cardiac medical/surgical problems
    • life-threatening anomalies
    • endocrine and metabolic problems
    • hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and pulmonary hypertension. - All the below REQUIRED
      • Must work with vents 2-3 shifts/week, 1 x week is not enough
