Job Description:
A company is looking for a Governmental Affairs Strategy
Director.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee governmental relations strategies and monitor legislative
activity related to cooperative purchasing
Review and interpret proposed legislative changes and advise
stakeholders on their potential impact
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop white papers, talking
points, and educational materials regarding legislative changes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Political Science or a related legal field
Minimum of five years of experience in legislative or governmental
affairs
Experience in a senior legislative capacity for a state senator or
executive cabinet department
Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a remote
environment
Proficiency in MS Office programs and understanding of database
management systems
