ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Tax Provision Senior Manager to join our Tax Department to lead the tax provision process and ensure compliance with ASC 740. You will implement processes and procedures to compute the quarterly and annual income tax provision. You will develop effective inte rnal controls related to the provision for income taxes. You will work closely with the Finance and Accounting team and third-party service providers in carrying out the responsibilities of the position. WHAT YOU’LL DO Build and develop processes for insourcing the accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) Manage tax provision software implementation Preparation of quarterly and annual worldwide accounting for income taxes (ASC 740) Analyze financial forecasts to compute quarterly effective tax rate Prepare forecasted tax balances to be provided to Financial Planning Prepare worldwide FIN 48 analysis Prepare tax related disclosures for financial statements Assist in due diligence of potential M&A targets and related tax accounting matters Prepare tax adjustments related to acquisitions and purchase accounting Monitor federal, state and foreign tax legislative changes and applicability to Anduril’s quarterly and annual tax provision Perform modeling related to tax reform/business changes and related impact on the effective tax rate Develop and monitor that appropriate internal controls are in place with respect to accounting for income taxes and compliance with such controls. Reconcile tax accounts including deferred tax assets and liabilities Assist with GloBE reporting and preparation REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS [Heading 4] Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Accounting; Master’s Degree in Business Taxation preferred CPA preferred 8 years of related experience with at least 3 years in a public accounting firm Extensive background in ASC 740/FIN 48 required Strong analytical skills necessary Proficient with MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel Oracle and/or tax provision software experience a plus Must have strong work ethic and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to manage competing priorities and accelerated deadlines Ability to effectively communicate with varying stakeholders and business units Excellent verbal and written communication skills Aptitude to adapt to organizational changes Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities US Salary Range $166,000 - $220,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
