Job Description:
A company is looking for a Captive Accountant to manage
financials for captive insurance companies remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain monthly financials for multiple captive insurance
companies
Reconcile bank accounts and investment accounts, and prepare
monthly financials in accordance with GAAP
Assist with the preparation of 1099s, annual reports, and surplus
calculations
Required Qualifications
BS degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred)
2+ years of accounting experience in a relevant industry
(preferred)
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and financial
accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and accounting software,
such as QuickBooks
Basic MS Excel skills
